One Time vs Recurring Cleanings

One-off Cleaning

You can schedule one-off cleanings at any time. Please note discounts are available for recurring cleaning (and with recurring cleaning you benefit from convenient recurring service with the same cleaning professional)

Recurring Cleaning

Maid Knows Best offers weekly, bi-weekly (every two weeks), or monthly cleaning at a discounted rate. These cleanings are automatically scheduled on the same day and time based on the interval you select. We send a reminder email and text message to let you know of upcoming cleanings and at any time you can log into your account to skip or reschedule service.

Move Out Cleanings

Maid Knows Best offers move out cleanings as an extra priced service to reflect the extra time needed for baseboards, uncleaned carpets, and other areas that have been hidden by furniture for quite some time. Please note that we are unable to guarantee your deposit. In addition, your cleaning professional is unable to move heavy furniture or climb ladders, as per our safety policy.

How Payment Works

Maid Knows Best only accepts credit/debit card payment for service, however your card is not charged until after service is completed. Please note that on the day before service a pre-authorization hold is made to your card. This is just a hold even though some banks may show this as a charge. The final charge takes place after your service is completed. BOOK NOW to schedule service.

What Supplies Do We Use

Maid Knows Best cleaning specialists are equipped with great cleaning products and family and pet friendly green cleaning supplies upon your request as an extra service. Please let us know if you would like to provide your own special supplies by adding a note to your account after you book.

Redeeming Discounts and Coupons

Redeeming A Gift Card

Please enter the gift card code directly on our booking form at checkout and your price will be automatically updated to reflect the giftcard credit. You can also login to you account at any time to see your gift card value.

Redeeming A Coupon

Enter your coupon code on the booking page and the price is automatically updated in the booking form.

I Did Not Get My Requested Team

Please note we make every effort to send the requested team, but in situations where we cannot (sick days, vacation, or other issues), we send an alternative team. Every effort is made to contact you before service in case this happens. But rest assured all of our teams are fantastic!

My Window Has Not Passed But Are We Still On?

If you have booked a cleaning based on an arrival window (8:30 to 10:30 for example), this denotes that the team can be there anytime during this period. We will reach out to you if there are any issues with your team’s arrival time. Alternatively, please feel free to contact us here to check on your service.

Maid Knows Best has a cleaning checklist that your cleaning professional will follow. You can leave additional notes in your account after checkout, by contacting us, or by providing instructions during your cleaning.

The following extra services are available if selected at checkout: baseboards, basement, deep cleaning, eco-friendly products, inside cabinets, inside the fridge, inside the oven, inside windows, and move in/move out

Note: For the safety of our professionals, we cannot perform the following: cleaning that requires climbing on ladders, exterior windows, mold removal, deep stain removal, insect and pest removal, cleaning pet messes, and items that require heavy lifting.
